Mercy has been part of the WellSpring family since the very beginning, generously offering her home, her hands, and her heart to the children in our care. Known for her quiet strength and deep well of kindness, she has always been the one you could call—day or night—and she would come without hesitation.

In 2023, Mercy endured a heartbreaking loss with the passing of her beloved husband. Yet even in grief, she remained steadfast in her support of others. In January 2024, she officially joined our staff as a House Assistant, stepping into a role that feels like a natural extension of who she already is.

With years of experience as a mother and homemaker, Mercy brings wisdom, warmth, and stability to our home. The children affectionately see her as a grandmother—someone who listens, comforts, and always makes room for one more. Her life is a living testament to quiet resilience, and we are deeply grateful for the grace and care she brings to WellSpring every single day.
